Job Title: Health, Safety and Environmental Officer

Irwin & Colton Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Officer to join our team in the Cross Hands area.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a large manufacturing site, supporting the growth and development of our Health and Safety team. As a Health, Safety and Environmental Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the site is compliant with UK legislation and group strategy for health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in ensuring the site is compliant with UK legislation and group strategy for health and safety
  • Deliver Risk Assessments across the site and accurately report on health and safety performance
  • Engage with key internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, operational staff, and external regulators
  • Provide health and safety support across the site and seek opportunities to improve and develop health and safety
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role within Food Manufacturing or a related industry
  • NEBOSH certificate or equivalent (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills with proven experience engaging colleagues and stakeholders
  • An enthusiastic and positive approach to health and safety
