Job Description:

Matchtech is seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Oxfordshire. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines, ensuring high-quality products are produced efficiently.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC machine operation in precision manufacture, with experience of setting and operating on Siemens Sinumerik 840d and Heidenhain TNC640. You will work closely with line management to improve machine shop performance and contribute to the success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain CNC machines to produce high-quality products.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance checks and record results.
  • Collaborate with line management to improve machine shop performance.
  • Set up machines for production runs and deburr and pack completed parts to prevent damage.
  • Attend required training and adhere to safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with CNC machine operation in precision manufacture.
  • Experience of setting and operating on Siemens Sinumerik 840d and Heidenhain TNC640.
  • Understanding of tool selection and composites manufacturing processes.
  • Able to work well in a team and flexible to meet team and customer demands.
  • Hold a Full Clean Driving License (desirable).
