Freelance Interpreter Required for Various Settings

We are recruiting freelance interpreters to work within various settings such as the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation and other public and private organisations. Established in 2001, Language Empire provides professional interpreting and translation services to the public and private sectors across the UK.
As a freelance interpreter, you will interpret for people using legal, health and local government services, checking the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence. You will also conference, consecutive and public service interpreting, dealing with highly confidential information and liaising between the service user and service provider.
Requirements include being fluent in English and another language, having the right to work in the UK, being aged 21 or over and holding formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or a Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages.
