The Team

We are looking for a skilled Associate to join our dynamic team and contribute to major planning projects spanning housing, retail, data centres, logistics, and energy. Your work will involve reviewing planning applications, drafting statutory agreements, handling planning appeals, judicial reviews, and strategy consultations.

  1. Qualified solicitor (NQ-3 years PQE) with experience in a recognised planning team
  2. A strong interest in development planning and consenting, with a focus on regeneration and infrastructure
  3. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a proactive and commercial approach
  4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated junior Solicitor to take the next step in their career within a leading Planning practice in Manchester. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting Partners and Senior Associates on major planning projects
  • Reviewing planning applications and drafting responses
  • Drafting statutory agreements and other planning-related documents
  • Handling planning appeals and judicial reviews
  • Conducting strategy consultations and providing recommendations
About the Opportunity
