**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced English Language Manager to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a key member of our English Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and measurement of profit enhancement programs across our outlets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning: Plan and review outlet budget and forecast revenue and expenditure on a monthly basis.
- Business Planning: Participate in management meetings to review progress towards achievement of business plan goals and develop the annual business plan related to the outlet.
- Profit Enhancement: Plan, implement, and measure profit enhancement programs by working with the kitchen and Marketing Department. Prepare and submit post-mortem promotion reports to the F&B Manager upon completion of promotions.
- Cost Control: Implement and maintain control measures to ensure that food and beverage costs, productivity, labor costs, and operating supply costs for the outlet are in line with budget.
- Team Supervision: Supervise team members to ensure that all tasks assigned or required in the outlet are carried out on time and according to instruction and departmental standards.
- Guest Service: Handle guests' complaints and comments tactfully and efficiently.
- Administration: Handle all administration work pertaining to cashier/bar operation requirements and company policies.
- Cleanliness: Check the outlet and back-of-the-house cleanliness to ensure that it is in compliance with F&B sanitation and hygiene rules and regulations.
- Knowledge: Maintain complete knowledge of all food and beverage services, contents, and preparation methods, outlets, and hotel services/features.
- Training and Development: Attend all briefings, meetings, and trainings as assigned by management. Perform proper handover and communication to the next shift.
- Support: Assist other food and beverage outlets with their operations during peak times or when required.
- Performance Review: Conduct performance reviews with the team.
- Payroll and Reporting: Prepare payroll and gratuity reports.
- Additional Requirements: Additional certification(s) in Food and Beverage will be an advantage. Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language. Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage. Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. High degree of professionalism with sound human resources management and business acumen capabilities. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and training skills.
