Astute's Power team is seeking a skilled Plant Operations Specialist to join their Energy from Waste Power Station team in the West Midlands. This exciting role comes with a competitive salary of £44,000 + Bonus + Overtime + Benefits. As a Plant Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the plant's equipment, including turbines, boilers, pumps, and water treatment systems. You will work closely with the Shift Team Leader to ensure the plant is operating within its parameters and complying with strict HSE rules and regulations. Key responsibilities include:

* Monitoring and controlling the plant's systems using a DCS/SCADA system
* Performing daily checks and plant walk rounds to ensure equipment is operating correctly and efficiently
* Monitoring continuous emissions monitoring systems (CEMS) and making corrective adjustments as needed
* Providing technical supervision and assistance to company and contract staff

To be successful in this role, you will have a time-served apprenticeship with an HNC in electrical/electronic engineering, measurement & control or similar. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for industrial process operations, we encourage you to apply.
