Datacenter System Software Architect

European Tech Recruit is seeking a highly skilled Datacenter System Software Architect to join a leading tech company in London.

This role involves driving the end-to-end delivery of systems software for the company's datacenter infrastructure. As a Datacenter System Software Architect, you will be the bridge between various teams across countries, working closely with people from data center infrastructure, computing resource management, SRE, and end business teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of systems software for datacenter infrastructure, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive program delivery, manage complex projects, and create roadmaps for the team.
  • Define and implement data-driven approaches to improve program delivery and team performance.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree or above in Computer Science or related field.
  • Many years of experience in deep system software background, including OS, Kernel, Storage, Networking, and Compiler.
  • Strong understanding of datacenter system software knowledge, including server architecture, CPU/GPU architecture, server firmware, OS, Linux Kernel, datacenter networking, and datacenter storage.
Desirable Experience:
  • Effective communication skills to handle comms to teams, management, and cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working in fast-moving environments with self-motivation, autonomy, and self-decision making.
  • Experience working in multi-time zones and multi-culture environments.
  • Passion for the Internet industry and willingness to grow with the company.
