About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Analyst to join our IT department. As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in providing financial insights and support to the IT leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models to drive informed decision-making
  • Optimise IT investments and strategy to align with the organisation's financial goals
  • Present complex information in an accessible and meaningful way to drive improvements in financial performance
  • Prepare and track Business Plans, Financial Plans, and local targets using appropriate modelling techniques
  • Support with IAG Cargo investment cases, ensuring proposals have all necessary information and rigour
  • Control and decision support activities, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and/or revenue improvement
  • Manage project accounting activities, including insight and evaluation of project success
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of finance theory and good level of practical finance experience in management accounting
  • Business awareness and commercial acumen developed through the application of finance knowledge and experience
  • Numerate and accurate
  • Strong IT skills in MS Office and preferably experience of finance systems
  • Proven track record of effective business partnering of commercial facing roles in fast-moving businesses
