Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Dietitian to join our team in Merton. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assessment and advice on effective nutrition and hydration intake for children and young people in the community.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment and advice on effective nutrition and hydration intake for children and young people in the community.
  • Support and advise parents/carers in maintaining effective nutritional and/or fluid intake for children and young people.
  • Advise on the use of supplements, specialist feeds, and dietary changes, liaising with the child's GP as necessary.
  • Liaise with manufacturers of nutritional products and other professionals to ensure the best possible care for our patients.
  • Develop enteral feeding regimes for non-orally fed children in collaboration with parents and other professionals.

Requirements

  • Degree in Dietetics and valid Health and Care Professions Council Registration.
  • Postgraduate experience in Paediatric Dietetics and Paediatric Home Enteral Feeding.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
