Estimator Job Description

Our client, a reputable Construction firm, is seeking a skilled Estimator to join their team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of project estimates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess client requirements and review project plans to determine scope of work, materials needed, and labour requirements.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure estimates are accurate and comprehensive.
  • Conduct site visits to gather necessary information and measure quantities.
  • Prepare and send out subcontractor and supplier enquiries, and analyze proposals to ensure client requirements are met.
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and make informed decisions about pricing and profitability.
  • Prepare preliminaries for tender adjudication and ensure key issues are presented at the tender adjudication.
  • Prepare and submit tender submissions in accordance with client requirements.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
