About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lawyer to join our team at Mills & Reeve. As a key member of our Commercial team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our clients and contributing to the growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in law and policy relevant to the Commercial team and share knowledge with lawyers to support their business development and client care responsibilities.
  • Provide internal training sessions and know-how updates to fee-earners, as well as delivering bespoke client training and knowledge resources.
  • Contribute to the development of business opportunities for the Firm by helping to create know-how products that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Collaborate with other professional support lawyers and the wider Knowledge, Learning & Development (KLD) team to support cross-firm learning and development initiatives.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 7 years' post-qualification experience as a Commercial lawyer.
  • Strong legal technical ability, commercial acumen, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to thought leadership and the creation and maintenance of a strong knowledge function.
