Conservation Operations Manager

Job Summary:
The postholder will work across the full extent of Norfolk Wildlife Trust's land holdings, driving efficiency and best practice across our practical conservation work. This role requires a strong working knowledge of machinery operation and engineering skills, as well as administrative support capabilities and a deep understanding of wildlife conservation and practical land management principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive efficiency and best practice across practical conservation work
- Work across the full extent of Norfolk Wildlife Trust's land holdings
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and effectively
- Provide administrative support to the team
- Develop and implement effective conservation plans
Requirements:
- Good working knowledge of machinery operation and engineering skills
- Administrative support capabilities
- Strong knowledge of and interest in wildlife conservation and practical land management
- Experience and qualifications in the use of equipment such as tractors, 360 excavators, tracked dumpers, chainsaw and brushcutter
