Pastoral Lead Position in Hackney

The Job Description: Pastoral Lead

We require a candidate with excellent communication skills, the ability to establish positive relationships with students, and a strong understanding of behaviour management strategies. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and implementing behaviour policies and procedures.
  2. Working with teachers to identify and address individual student needs.
  3. Providing pastoral support to students experiencing difficulties.
  4. Collaborating with the School Safeguarding Team to ensure student safety.
  5. Leading initiatives to improve student attendance and punctuality.
  6. Supporting staff to develop their own behaviour management skills.
  7. Managing the Pastoral Support Room and other provisions.
