Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Site Agent to join our client, a leading civil engineering construction company, on a prestigious Railway scheme in the North East region.

About the Role

As a Site Agent, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of civil engineering works, including typical lineside civils works and station works. You will work closely with the project team to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the site team to ensure efficient and safe working practices
  • Monitor and report on site progress, identifying and mitigating any potential risks or issues
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement site-based procedures and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other project team members

Requirements

  • SMSTS and PTS certification
  • Proven experience in the rail industry as a Site Agent or Sub Agent
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering works and site-based procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
