We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Assistant to join our team at Adecco. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our client's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Payables and Account Receivables: Ensure timely payment to suppliers, manage aged debtor schedules, and prepare monthly AR reports.
  • Month-End Close Support: Assist with preparing accruals and prepayment journals to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements monthly and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • General Ledger Review: Conduct periodic reviews to ensure GL figures align with departmental trackers.
  • Audit Support: Provide relevant information to auditors and assist with both internal and external audits.
  • Other Ad-Hoc Duties: Offer general administrative support to the Finance team, including completing surveys, conducting financial checks, and managing the email box.

The ideal candidate will have previous finance experience, with public sector experience being desirable. You should have a keen interest in how organizations monitor finance and use it in key decision-making, as well as a desire to improve and streamline commercial finance business processes.
