About the Role:

Our client, a reputable civil engineering contractor based in Northern Ireland, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their commercial team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in researching materials, equipment, and labor costs, reviewing potential Value Engineering options, and preparing subcontractor/supplier packages for sending out to the market.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Reward competitive and compliant quotations from subcontractors and suppliers;
  • Manage projects efficiently and report price variations effectively;
  • Analyze quotations for the most competitive and compliant solutions;
  • Assist with program preparation and assess levels of risk on a project.

Requirements:

You will be degree educated in a construction-related discipline and have at least 5 years of experience in an estimating role. A proven track record of tendering and winning build projects, as well as a strong understanding of construction processes, are essential. You must also be able to deliver all aspects of your role efficiently and to a consistently high standard.

What We Offer:

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including holiday scheme up to 35 days, private health scheme, company uniform, and length of service bonus.
