Role Overview

AWE plc is currently seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Specialist - Nuclear Safety Expert to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a challenging position and contribute to the success of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing compliance, risk, services, and maintenance methodology in the provision of supporting infrastructure, plant and equipment directly related to Nuclear Safety. They will work closely with the Nuclear Risk Management team to ensure that all safety case derived maintenance requirements are clearly established, standardised, and appropriately configured with the broader safety documentation.

Requirements
  • Experience of successfully leading, motivating, and managing cross-functional teams to deliver workplace solutions within a highly regulated environment.
  • Process safety management experience.
  • Understanding of Nuclear safety, the principles of the safe operating boundary, of operating and maintenance instructions, of linking documentation, and of quality systems.
  • Experience of enterprise asset management system and maintenance planning and delivery.
