Job Summary:

NES Fircroft is currently working with a large oil and gas operator to fill a Technical Safety Engineer position in their Norwich Offices. As an integral part of the Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment (QSHE) team, the Technical Safety Engineer will provide safety engineering support to SNS operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safety engineering support to SNS operation
  • Collaborate with the QSHE team to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
  • Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety audits
  • Prepare technical reports and letters
  • Interact with senior management and regulatory bodies

Requirements:

  • Higher technical qualification in Process Safety, Chemical, or Mechanical engineering
  • Experience in Safety Engineering in the Oil & Gas Industry, with experience in both design and operation being desirable
  • Software knowledge in MS Office (Word/Excel mandatory), PHAST, PHA-Pro, BowTie XP, and FLARESIM
  • Ability to work to deadlines, be organized and methodical
