Lead Drainage Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Lead Drainage Engineer to join our team at Vector Recruitment Solutions Ltd in London. As a key member of our maintenance services provider, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive drainage solutions for domestic and commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Mentor and support junior engineers in resolving technical issues and assisting on larger projects.
- Respond promptly to emergency and reactive call-outs, addressing drainage issues for a diverse range of clients.
- Utilize advanced techniques and tools, including High Pressure Water Jetting, Core Cleaning, De-Scaling, and CCTV Surveys equipment, to efficiently resolve drainage problems.
- Perform basic plumbing works, such as removing toilets and urinals, replacing isolation valves, or toilet components.
- Proven experience in the drainage industry, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a drainage environment.
- Technical competence in utilizing electro-mechanical and CCTV equipment, as well as performing basic plumbing tasks.
- Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
- Ability to approach and resolve issues logically.
- Regular hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
- Night shifts: 4 nights a month.
- Weekends: 1 weekend a month.
- On-call duty: 1 call-out week every 10 weeks.
- Competitive salary: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Overtime rates: 1/3 additional pay from Monday to Friday.
- Double-time pay: Available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Company vehicle: Fully equipped company vehicle provided.
