Powder Coater Job Description

Pertemps Telford is currently recruiting for a Powder Coater on a temporary to permanent basis. The successful candidate will be looking for an opportunity to develop within an organisation, work well within a small team and be open to learning all aspects of the business as part of the company's long-term plan to develop their staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Picking stock from the warehouse using internally generated works orders.
  • Ensuring picked product is accurate prior to powder coating.
  • Using power tools, Dremel, buffing wheel.
  • Disassembling products using hand tools.
  • Cleaning, masking & hanging of components.
  • Powder coating components.
  • Effective oven management to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Quality checking components post powder coating to ensure they are to the correct standard.
  • Ensuring appropriate throughput of parts through the powder coating process to achieve efficient productivity.
  • Powder coating booth housekeeping including full clean down of all equipment on colour and changing Gun & cup, line, filters, catch draw etc.
  • Maintaining tidy powder shelf and ensuring a safe working environment.


Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 17:00pm & Friday 8:00am – 16:00pm | 45 minutes for lunch. Pay: £11.74 per hour.
