Vehicle Damage Assessor

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing damage to commercial vehicles, preparing detailed estimates, and liaising with insurance companies and customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of commercial vehicles to identify damage and determine repair requirements.
  • Utilize industry-standard software (Audatex) to generate accurate cost estimates and repair schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with insurance engineers, providing detailed reports and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare comprehensive job cards for the workshop team, ensuring clear instructions and specifications.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers, providing updates on repair progress and addressing any concerns.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or Estimator in a commercial bodyshop environment.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle repair procedures and industry standards (BSI PAS 10125).
  • Proficiency in using Audatex software for estimating and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
