Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Gas Service and Repair Engineer to join our team at Manchesteronline. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing a professional gas servicing and repair service that delivers an excellent experience to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Service, diagnose, and repair all landlord-owned gas appliances in customers' homes and empty properties.
  2. Complete relevant certification in accordance with the Gas Safety Regulations.
  3. Report to the Gas Manager any faulty appliances, installations, or equipment that does not comply with the current safety regulations.
  4. Deliver a good cosmetic finish on completing a job.
  5. Report any potential repairs and safeguarding issues that you notice in the customers' homes.
  6. Update your PDA in real-time on a job's status and communicate with planners if customers are not at home or jobs are not viable.
  7. Order parts, materials, or follow-up work as required and record work daily outside opti-time.
  8. Achieve your performance targets, KPIs, and productivity targets.

Requirements:

  1. Can undertake gas heating repairs and gas servicing in customers' homes and certifying gas works.
  2. Have sound building and construction knowledge.
  3. Have general building maintenance repair knowledge.
  4. Hold a Certificate of Competence (BSEN17024) CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1.
