Automotive Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team at IAC Group as an Automotive Operations Manager. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity that requires a strong leader to manage and coordinate all launch-related activities.
Main Responsibilities- Launch Management: Provide support to the Plant through the management and coordination of all launch-related activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective product launches.
- Project Coordination: Successfully coordinate running changes, implementation of IAC Project Management Systems, and plant interface in support of program targets.
- Team Leadership: Foster an effective personal working relationship with all departments, direct cross-functional teams to ensure prompt responses to program needs, and maintain IAC and personal credibility with the customer and balance of customer relationship and IAC profitability.
- Communication and Collaboration: Interface and coordinate responses with IAC Commercial team, ensure Launch Readiness Reviews are complete and updated every month, and maintain launch timing plans.
- Problem-Solving and Risk Management: Continually update progress, incorporate contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies into master timelines, and apply, execute, and maintain function-related Project Milestones/Timing Plans.
- Education: BSc/HND in an Engineering or Business discipline.
- Experience: At least 5 years' experience in automotive manufacturing, ideally a Tier 1 supplier, with proven experience of managing multiple projects from development to launch.
- Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience of managing cross-functional project teams in a matrix organization, evidence of achieving results through focused leadership and mentoring, excellent customer and supplier relationship management, and working knowledge of costing/quoting process, program management knowledge, and MS Project, MS Office.
