About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Assessor to join our team at Aspect Healthcare. As a Disability Assessor, you will play a vital role in evaluating the needs of individuals who are applying for a Work Capability Assessment (WCA) as part of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with diverse health conditions to gain a clear understanding of their challenges and how their disability affects their daily life.
  • Interpret medical evidence and gather findings into comprehensive reports to support the decision-making process by the DWP.
  • Work autonomously in an office-style environment and at home to complete assessments over the telephone, video, or face-to-face.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurses, Physiotherapists, Paramedics, and Occupational Therapists are eligible to apply.
  • NMC/HCPC registration is required.
  • At least 1 year's broad post-registration experience and UK experience is essential.
  • Proactive, keen to learn, and receptive to feedback.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and I.T competency is a must-have.
