Job Summary
VBC Analytics is an organization covering BSW Health Plan (Payer) and BSW Quality Alliance (ACO Provider) analytical needs. Our team seeks a stakeholder-facing statistical analyst responsible for extracting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support cost-saving initiatives.

We are looking for an individual with entry-level qualifications up to $42/hour ($52,291/year). The ideal candidate will collect and analyze data from various sources, including electronic health records and claims data. This role involves providing observations and recommendations based on analysis of patterns within the data to guide actions from various teams. Additionally, the candidate will conduct detailed analyses and interpret results to inform care management program development and evaluation under the guidance of senior analysts. They will also stay up-to-date on the latest research and trends in government healthcare programs.

The preferred qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative disciplines. The candidate should have academic knowledge of statistical techniques, including logistic regression, ANOVA, cluster analysis, etc. Familiarity with statistical and analytical tools such as R or SAS is also required. The ideal candidate will be able to work with complex data of varying levels of quality and validity, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
