Job Title: Field Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Technologist to join our Technical Services team at Monsoon Accessorize. As a Field Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our jewellery and hair products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Buying team in the development of new products, ensuring that they meet quality, safety, and legal requirements.
  • Work closely with suppliers to achieve cost-effective production methods while maintaining quality standards.
  • Manage product testing and quality processes to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Liaise with our India and China QA teams to track product testing and utilize their expertise to understand supplier capabilities.
  • Review returns data and customer feedback to drive improvements and ensure product alignment with customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Distribution Centre QC Department on quality inspections and follow up with Buying teams and suppliers.
  • Conduct factory visits and audits to assess technical capabilities and develop CAPs.
  • Work with our Ethical Trading manager to follow up on SMETA reports and factory audits, and conduct ethical risk assessments.
  • Manage the Due Diligence testing program for jewellery and hair products.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in jewellery and hair product development and quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of product construction techniques, quality and safety standards, and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Interest in learning about other product areas within the Accessorize brand.
