Job Overview:

Stagecoach Highland is seeking a skilled Backshift Shunter to join our Inverness depot. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the efficient operation of our bus fleet by performing various tasks including fueling, washing, and parking our vehicles.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Fuelling, washing and safe parking of our fleet
  • Accurately completing reports of coolant/oil/fuel issues
  • Full compliance with Stagecoach group health and safety procedures

With a 5-over-7 backshift pattern, you will work 40 hours per week with opportunities for overtime. A positive attitude and flexibility to meet business needs are essential for success in this role.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Flexible to the requirements of the business and committed, as well as a positive work ethic
  • Willingness to take pride in your role and be satisfied with a good day's work
  • Full car licence
