As a Technical Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the future direction of our endpoint visibility tool, Velociraptor. This is an excellent opportunity to engage with the open source community, research novel solutions in DFIR and information security, and contribute to the broader Rapid7 engineering community.

Your Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team as a Technical Lead for our endpoint security solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our platform offerings, including Velociraptor.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build systems ingesting and querying data volumes in excess of millions of requests per second.
  • Be an advocate for upcoming features across the organization and with customers.
  • Consult and support the Velociraptor open source community and our Rapid7 Cloud Development on future enhancements and integration.
  • Work with balanced teams that have embedded Product Designers and Product Managers.

  • Demonstrable experience delivering complex solutions to customers.

  • Able to partner with others and drive toward solutions.
  • Drive for continuous delivery.
  • High proficiency in Golang for low-level systems programming. Some familiarity with React/JS/HTML/CSS would be helpful. Experience contributing to open source communities on GitHub or similar platforms.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

This is an estimate based on industry standards and requirements for the role. The actual salary will depend on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications.
