Are you a qualified and experienced Cover Supervisor looking for a new challenge? We are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to work in secondary schools based in the Coleshill area.
About the Role:
- Supervise a classroom in the absence of their teacher
- Engage, motivate and encourage students to complete work set
- Ensure all students are focused and on track to meet their lesson objectives
- Manage classroom behaviour
- Assist in achieving lesson objectives and maintaining student progress
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers and other staff
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of lessons
- Report and record student behaviour and progress
- Participate in school events and activities
- Previous teaching experience
- A Bachelor's degree in any subject
- Up to date knowledge of subject curriculum
- Ability to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to work with children
- Up to date Safeguarding Training
