Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transport Planning Specialist to join our team at Phil Jones Associates Ltd & PJA Civil Engineering Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality transport planning projects and contributing to the growth and success of our business.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of transport planning projects, including active travel initiatives, placemaking schemes, and transport strategy development. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, including public and private sector organizations, and to contribute to the development of innovative and effective transport solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality transport planning projects, including active travel initiatives and placemaking schemes
  • Contribute to the development of transport strategy and policy
  • Work with clients to understand their transport needs and develop effective solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver projects and achieve business objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements
  • Education to degree level or above in a relevant field
  • Experience in transport planning, including active travel and placemaking
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of transport policy and legislation
