Job Description

An ambitious and self-motivated IT professional with expertise in Microsoft Windows Server and Client Technologies, capable of deploying IT infrastructure and application projects within manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take an integral role in the shop floor IT project delivery operation delivering client, server & network components.
  • Integrate software applications that form part of a manufacturing process or capability, bridging the gap between the software supplier and our customers' IT environment.
  • Provide first-class customer service to our UK manufacturing customer base, interfacing with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Under the guidance of a project manager, you will take ownership of deployment activities through a full project lifecycle, from detailed planning to customer acceptance.
  • You will hand over delivered solutions to our Service & Support function to ensure they have what they require to support our customers' 24/7 manufacturing operations.

  • You understand our customers' challenges and perspectives, build credibility and strong relationships, tailoring your delivery approach to fit.
  • You are committed to delivering projects 'right first time' and provide input into the technical and commercial lessons learnt process.
  • You are commercially aware and can spot opportunities that may enhance the ATS UK proposition for our customers.
  • You strive for professional development and career progression by combining your existing IT knowledge with experience gained in the manufacturing industry and apply this to your role and other areas within ATS UK.
ATS Engineering Excellence Standard: L2 - Engineer
  • Demonstrates competence in own area.
  • May still be acquiring higher level Technical Knowledge.
