We are seeking a dedicated HR/Payroll Assistant to join our team at VEA Telecoms Ltd in Manchester.
Key Responsibilities- Timesheet Management:
- Collect and manage employee timesheets to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Work with project managers to resolve any discrepancies
- Vehicle Maintenance Reports & Licence Checks:
- Manage company vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure documentation is up to date
- Perform regular driving licence checks for employees who operate company vehicles
- Internal Payroll Administration:
- Process payrolls accurately and efficiently
- Liaise with the Finance Director to ensure timely payment of wages and benefits
- Pre-screening of Candidates:
- Assist in the recruitment process by pre-screening CVs and applications for new roles
- Coordinate interviews and support the HR Manager with recruitment tasks
- General HR Support:
- Provide administrative support to the HR Manager
- Maintain employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies
- Help with onboarding new employees and other HR-related duties as required
- Essential:
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
- Experience with timesheets and payroll systems
- Basic understanding of HR procedures and recruitment processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
