As a Senior Credit Investment Director, you will support our growing platform and contribute to a successful investment program in 2025: originating and executing new investments and supporting the design and launch of our third fund.

Nuveen Clean Energy Infrastructure is a global leader in investing in the energy transition, with a franchise as a fund manager in credit/debt investments in renewable energy and broad energy transition.

  • We have established a platform for energy transition credit funds, with two funds already raised and invested, circa EUR 500m.
  • We have arranged, structured, and closed transactions for > EUR 3.5bln.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrating high degree of competency in financial modelling and appraisal.
  • Applying advanced modelling techniques to deliver a range of options in formulating plans and obtaining funding.
  • Having detailed knowledge and experience of financial markets and showing competence in establishing optimal financial structures.
  • Drafting and defending IC papers, DC papers, memos independently or with limited supervision.
  • Competently and confidently managing drafting, negotiation, and agreement of full suite of project documents.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with relevant infrastructure industry participants, experts, investors, financial institutions, and fiduciaries.
  • Analyzing industry, market, and infrastructure-specific research as well as competitive fund analysis to stay well-informed and ahead of trends and current issues impacting the infrastructure management business.
  • Negotiating highly complex deals and managing multiple and sometimes conflicting issues for best outcome for the Fund.
  • Proactively identifying threats and issues and taking positive actions.
  • Making strategic decisions based on data, setting strategic priorities, and involving Partners in aligning strategic priorities.
  • Contributing to fundraising and investor relations efforts including setting and executing capital raising strategy, annual investor conference, advisory committee meetings, Due Diligence Questionnaire (DDQ) and Request for Proposal (RFP) review, fulfilling investor requests for information, investor on-site meetings, and ongoing investor relations management.

This role requires no regulatory designation.

Nuveen offers a competitive salary package, estimated around $150,000 per annum, plus benefits.
