Electrical Systems Technician Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Technician to join our team at Recra Consulting. As an Electrical Systems Technician, you will be responsible for testing and repairing electrical systems and equipment, replacing electrical components and electronic wiring, and assessing the condition of electronic wiring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical System Testing and Repair: Conduct thorough testing and repair of electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Electrical Component Replacement: Replace electrical components and electronic wiring as needed to maintain system functionality.
  • Wiring Assessment: Assess the condition of electronic wiring to identify potential issues and recommend repairs or replacements.
  • Circuit Diagram Interpretation: Interpret electronic circuit diagrams and technical drawings to understand system design and functionality.
  • Tool Operation: Operate hand tools and power tools to perform electrical system repairs and maintenance.
  • Soldering and Crimping: Confidently solder and crimp electrical connections to ensure secure and reliable system operation.
  • Independence and Supervision: Work independently with minimal supervision, using problem-solving skills to resolve electrical system issues.
  • Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work Order Interpretation: Read and interpret work orders to understand system requirements and priorities.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
