Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our Information Security team, you will play a critical role in protecting our clients' data and systems from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist with security incident management and response activities
  2. General day-to-day support on managing and responding to security alerts from systems and end users
  3. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly security checks, reconciliation and compliance checks and investigate exceptions
  4. Completing client security requirement questionnaires and support the bidding process
  5. Identify and raise awareness of security risks
  6. Develop and enhance security policies, processes, procedures, and technical controls to strengthen Turner & Townsend's security capabilities and resilience to cyber threats
  7. Take a proactive role in identifying security risks, mitigations, and opportunities to strengthen Turner & Townsend's resilience to cyber-attacks and security incidents
  8. Participate in the design and implementation of systems and applications
  9. Develop user and technical training guides
  10. Maintain and manage the IT Risk register
  11. Test DR plans and capabilities to ensure they work as designed, identifying gaps and lessons learnt and work with the business to drive continual development and enhancement
Requirements
  1. Hands-on experience of security and/or infrastructure within an enterprise environment
  2. Exposure to enterprise information security standards including Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, 27002 etc. Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation
  3. Microsoft O365 Security solutions; Networking; Security operations; Security Auditing
  4. Good understanding of security testing principles, including experience of vulnerability scanning, identifying, resolving, and reporting risks
  5. Experience of formal document creation, such as the creation of reports or procedures
  6. Detailed knowledge of Microsoft O365 environment
  7. Threat Intelligence analysis and best practice
  8. Security Incident Response processes, procedures, and best practices
  9. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity principles
  10. Event and log analysis
