About the Role
Tarmac is seeking a skilled Yard Operative to join our team at Alfreton, Derbyshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate goods in and out across site, ensuring safe loading and unloading with the weighbridge.
- Organize stock and implement stock rotation, utilizing the SAP system for inventory management.
- Report safety observations and incidents, demonstrating a proactive approach to Health and Safety.
- Supervise silo discharge and conduct weekly spot checks on product discharging.
- Verify compliance of incoming vehicles and drivers with company standards, performing weekly spot checks.
- Support the Operational team as needed.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a FLT license, proven experience in an industrial or factory environment, and excellent communication skills.
