Job Description

Reeson Education is seeking a highly motivated and experienced After School Club Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the daily operations of the after school club, planning engaging activities, and working closely with staff and parents to ensure a positive experience for all children.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position, with 38 weeks per year ( term-time only).
  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience in managing after-school programs, strong organisational and leadership skills, and the ability to engage and manage groups effectively.

Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Management: Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the after-school club, ensuring all activities run smoothly and safely.
  2. Activity Planning: Plan and deliver engaging activities that cater to a range of ages and interests, ensuring every session is enjoyable and beneficial.
  3. Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with school staff and parents to ensure each child's needs are met and they have a positive after-school experience.
  4. Safety and Organisation: Ensure the after-school club environment is safe, organised, and inclusive for all participants.
  5. Administrative Tasks: Monitor attendance, manage resources, and handle any administrative tasks associated with the role.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an After School Club Manager or in a similar role within an educational setting.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to engage and manage groups of children effectively.
  • A proactive, creative approach to planning activities, ensuring every session is enjoyable and beneficial.
  • DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one.

Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
