Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Planning Specialist to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our transport planning and highways consultancy, you will be working on a wide range of projects across the UK.

The successful candidate will have experience in designing and implementing transportation plans and strategies for various civil engineering projects. You will also produce transport planning reports and technical notes, manage project budgets and financial monitoring.

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant university degree or apprenticeship
  • A proven track record in delivering successful projects on time and to budget
  • Excellent standard of written English (particularly report writing)
  • High level of competence in the use of MS Office products (including Excel and Word)
  • Knowledge of government transport policy and guidelines
  • Understanding of the principles of transport planning
  • Experience using AutoCAD and AutoTrack

Salary: £45,000 per annum
