About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Bank Nurse and work flexibly across various Trusts in England. You will have the ability to develop professionally and gain experience in several wards or areas, while enjoying a healthy work-life balance.

Main Responsibilities
  • Taking the lead and assisting other staff in assessing service users' needs, planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans and interventions designed to meet service users' individual needs.
  • Actively involving service users in developing and agreeing their own care plans and acting as an advocate for users of the service, ensuring that there is proper regard for their dignity, choice, self-esteem, racial, cultural, sexual, and religious needs and preferences.
  • Ensuring that risks are managed effectively and that an appropriate balance is achieved between risk and the benefit to the service user.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience as a Registered Nurse working with Learning Disabilities in a UK hospital environment within the last 3 years.
  • Complying with NMC Professional Registration and keeping up-to-date with current nursing practices.
