Maths Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a tailored curriculum to engage and support students with complex anxiety associated with autism spectrum disorder and/or early trauma.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver Maths lessons adapted to the needs of SEN students.
  • Use creative and individualised approaches to make Maths accessible and engaging.
  • Work closely with support staff to implement personalised learning and behaviour plans.
  • Track and report on student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Maths or a related field.
  • Experience working with SEN students, with a flexible and positive teaching approach.
  • A genuine commitment to helping students reach their full potential.
