Deputy Charge Nurse Secondment Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Deputy Charge Nurse. This is a part-time position of 21.6 hours, expected to last for approximately 9 months to cover maternity leave.

The ideal candidate will have experience in ward management and a keen interest in developing their leadership skills. They will be responsible for providing evidence-based, person-centered care to patients with acute mental health illnesses.

Fraser Ward is an Acute Adult Mental Health ward, caring for patients aged 18-65 from Aberdeenshire. The ward also accepts CAMHS admissions and works closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure best outcomes for patients.

The post holder must be a motivated individual with ward nursing experience and an awareness of up-to-date drivers and legislation related to patient care. They must also have an NMC registration and a willingness to support the nursing team in meeting the demands of our busy service.
