We are seeking a dedicated nurse to join our team as a Community Chemotherapy Nurse in Liverpool, Merseyside. As a member of our innovative team, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals affected by cancer.
About the CompanyOur client is a leading specialist in Cancer Care, known for their commitment to patient-centred treatment. They offer a supportive environment where nurses can thrive, with access to the latest technologies and therapies in oncology.
The ideal candidate will have essential experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy, and possess skills in cannulation and venepuncture. A valid driving licence and SACT Passport or equivalent qualification are also required.
Responsibilities and Benefits- Delivering IV and oral chemotherapy treatments to patients in their own homes
- Conducting blood tests and toxicity assessments to monitor patient health
- Managing pump disconnections and line care to ensure patient safety
- Providing IM/SC injections as required
- Collaborating with a wider nursing team while working independently
- Staying updated with new technologies and therapies in oncology
- Annual salary of up to £43,000, negotiable based on experience
- Company car or £4,850 car allowance
- Mileage covered
