Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Science Graduate to join our team as a teaching assistant in a thriving secondary school in Tower Hamlets, London. This is an excellent opportunity for you to gain hands-on experience in education while sharing your subject expertise with students.

Job Summary:

  • Full-time teaching assistant position available

  • Collaborate with experienced teachers to deliver engaging science lessons

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the classroom teacher in delivering science lessons, preparing resources, and assessing student progress. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for science education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the classroom teacher in planning and delivering science lessons
  • Prepare educational materials and resources for students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to the classroom teacher
  • Develop and implement engaging science lesson plans

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of science curriculum and pedagogy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
