About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Total Resourcing Ltd. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering projects in the nuclear industry, working closely with operational engineering multi-disciplines teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and manage technical studies related to mechanical handling and powder technologies.
  • Design mechanical processes, from strategic and conceptual phases to detailed design and construction & commissioning phase support.
  • Manage technical studies delivery, considering manufacture, testing, construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance, recovery, and decommissioning aspects.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant degree plus a minimum of 2 years' experience working on UK nuclear sites.
  • Member of relevant professional body is desirable.
  • Knowledge of engineering design and engineering team management in the nuclear industry or other regulated sectors.
