Pertemps is excited to support a prestigious client in the search for reliable and motivated Mailing Couriers in Altens.

This role is ideal for individuals who excel in customer service and enjoy an active, varied position. The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a team to deliver exceptional results.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Sorting and preparing parcels for delivery at the local mailing office
  • Capturing delivery signatures and navigating routes using a handheld device
  • Delivering mail and parcels by vehicle and on foot, utilizing a trolley when necessary to ensure efficient service

In addition to these duties, the courier will be required to walk up to 8 miles daily, carrying mail and parcels weighing up to 20kg. A valid UK driving license with up to 6 points is preferred, although prior delivery or driving experience is not essential.

A strong time management, communication, and customer service focus are crucial for success in this role. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and possess a flexible approach to their work schedule.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £17.25 - £18.95, increased rates apply for shifts past 8pm and Sundays. If you are a customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply.
