This is an exciting time to join Allianz's high-performing Internal Audit team, which forms part of our Global audit community. As we continue to evolve our team, we are seeking an individual who can deliver high-quality assurance work and contribute to the ongoing development of Internal Audit. You will collaborate with colleagues on an internal audit portfolio as well as develop and implement activities to enhance and maintain the efficiency and effectiveness of the Internal Audit function.
About You
Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for performing audit planning, delivering audit fieldwork, using data analytics when necessary, contributing to drafting and finalising audit outcomes and reports, and following up on recommendations.
- You will work closely with your audit team to agree objectives and timelines for each audit and regularly monitor progress.
- You will prepare comprehensive audit files, supporting working papers and draft and final reports within agreed timescales and quality standards with Internal Audit Management.
- You will work with your audit team to deliver and communicate audit results and develop practical recommendations that address root causes and mitigate risks.
- You will contribute to the development, innovation and growth of our internal audit strategy and support functional development activities.
- You will have extensive experience in internal audit, 2nd line assurance or business operations, including a working knowledge of data analytics and awareness of existing and emerging insurance risks and regulations.
- You must be able to work independently and as part of a team to deliver audits and non-audit activities.
- You should hold a completed or current professional qualification in internal audit, accountancy or another relevant discipline.
- You should possess excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word, with a working knowledge or awareness of data analytics.
