Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at The Aurora Group. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with children and young people with complex needs, including autistic spectrum conditions, sensory needs, and attachment difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to support individuals with complex needs.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to provide a high standard of occupational therapy services.
  • Provide advice and training to parents, carers, and professionals on strategies to support individuals with complex needs.
  • Manage a caseload of children with complex needs, including those with autistic spectrum conditions, sensory needs, and attachment difficulties.
  • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans, using clinical reasoning skills and evidence-based practice.
Requirements:
  • Recognized degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
  • Previous experience in an occupational therapy role, preferably in a multi-disciplinary team setting.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with children with complex needs, including autistic spectrum conditions, sensory needs, and attachment difficulties.
