Senior Care Assistant - Nights

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Yockleton Grange Residential Home in Shrewsbury. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Administer medication as required
  • Maintain accurate records of resident care and activities
  • Lead a team of care assistants and assist the nurse in charge
  • Apply dressings and take samples as needed
  • Communicate with external sources, such as doctors and district nurses
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Experience administering medication and working in a similar role
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate others
