About the Role

As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our esteemed establishment. You will be a skilled and experienced professional with a passion for delivering exceptional cuisine and leading a high-performing kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative menus that showcase fresh, locally sourced ingredients
  • Lead and motivate a team of chefs to achieve high standards of quality and consistency
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and stock control
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and negotiate favorable prices
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency and productivity
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef or Head Chef in a similar establishment
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality cuisine and leading a team to achieve exceptional results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Knowledge of food safety and health regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment
