Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Bodyshop Estimator to join our team at Stephen James (Automotive) Ltd. As a Bodyshop Estimator, you will be responsible for providing a courteous and efficient estimating and reception service for our Bodyshop department.
Main Responsibilities:
- To assess Bodyshop, S.M.A.R.T Repairs and extended warranties to customers
- To record a list of damages to the customers' vehicles
- To use Audatex to calculate costs and the time required to complete all necessary repairs accurately and professionally
- To liaise and negotiate repair approvals with insurance engineers and customers
- To complete job packs and prepare invoices in an accurate and timely manner
Requirements:
- To have excellent communication skills to communicate credibly with our customers
- To be able to develop rapport and trust with customers and to resolve conflict situations calmly and reasonably
- To work to high standards, be self-motivated and able to multitask in a busy environment
- To have proven experience working in a similar role in a busy Bodyshop centre. preferable with Audatex accreditation
- To have a valid clean UK Driving Licence and must be eligible to work in the UK
